Welcome to The Seeker's Journey!

Here you will find an assortment of articles that delve into the elements of the process "unto" transformation, that one can expect to experience while walking with the Spirit of God, and as taught and revealed by Jesus.

The New Man

“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the New Man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”  - Ephesians 4:23-24 (KJV)

Meet the “New Man”

In this Scripture we find the term “New Man,” which is the Spirit of God within us, helping us to grow; while the term, “new nature” (often mentioned around the Body of Christ) represents who we are and how we act when directly influenced by the Spirit of God. So, you could say… that as we embrace the New Man, our nature begins to reflect the “new” in the way we speak, in the choices we make and so forth; our motives also undergo transition, from self-based to love-based.

Gift of Grace

"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." - John 10:10 (KJV)

What does the “Holy Spirit” do?

As a way of addressing this intriguing question, let's begin by looking at the origin of the word "abundantly" used in John 10:10; it comes from the Greek "Perissos" which refers to that which is "above measure" or "superfluous." So what marvelous experience could Jesus have for us, as suggested by this verse of Scripture? Could this word "abundantly" be in reference to some sort of "state of Grace?"
